Artifact Enclosure
mediums:
-
oak
-
plexiglas
-
metal wire
In order to understand what our repository in New York was to hold, we were given a rare object to enclose using materials intelligently in order to not compromise the object's integrity. This preceded the design of the New Chapin Rare Books and Manuscript Library.

Pallet Furniture
mediums:
-
reclaimed wood
Given old wooden pallets, I transformed two into a inclined lounge chair and a coffee table.
"Sticky" Wood- Experiment
medium:
-
oak
The first of a series of material investigations in order to understand the program of a center for green jobs training. Given a word and a material, I had to successfully merge the two into a single constrcution without outside materials (glue, tape, rubber bands, etc.) Given the word "sticky" and the material of wood, I used six pieces of oak to connect to each other through friction and slotting, "sticking" in a sense.
